When you create an account, we collect your email address and the username you choose. When you use the app, we store the cases, challenge cases, and points you create or earn.
We also keep a record of the search terms typed into the case library, together with how many results each one returned, so that searches which find nothing can be fixed. That record is anonymous: it is not linked to your account or your device, and it cannot be read back by anyone using the app.
We use your information to operate your account, display your username alongside content you share, calculate your points and rank, and communicate with you about your account (for example, email verification and password reset).
Cases and challenge cases you create are visible to every other signed-in user of the app, alongside your username. This is a shared study library by design — do not include anything you would not want other students to see.
Your account and content are stored with our database provider, Supabase, on cloud infrastructure hosted in South Korea (ap-northeast-2). Access to the database is restricted by row-level security policies, so you can only create, edit, or delete your own content.
You can delete your account at any time from your Profile. Deleting your account permanently removes your login and profile, and removes your cases and challenge cases from the shared library. This action cannot be undone.

You can review and update your username and email from your Profile at any time. You can request a copy of your data or ask us a question about this policy using the contact details below.
Case Draft is intended for law students and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
